Was True Justice Served?

It would seem that when she had finally been brought into custody for the last time, Denise kept requesting for an attorney but hadn’t been granted one right away, which is required by law. Because of this, Denise was able to get a plea deal despite the barbaric death she had put her husband through. She received a sentencing of 14 years in prison after being allowed to plead guilty to second-degree murder, which means that although she’s a convicted killer, she may still walk free one day. And after only serving 14 years, it’s almost positive that these are circumstances that not everyone will agree is real justice.
