Searching The 36-Foot Boat

It wouldn’t take the police too long to find Ed’s dead body. When they arrived at the docks and got on the boat, they noticed that the air-conditioning had been turned on to 60 degrees, meaning there was an attempt to keep the body cold. But no matter how “cold” it was, there was no denying that Ed was way beyond dead, or that his body was already decaying.

Covering Him Up

It was obvious to the police that whoever had committed the crime was attempting to cover it up as much as possible. Not only was the air-conditioning left on, the body itself was inside a canvas storage bag, which was placed inside the starboard engine compartment, while his head had been wrapped in a towel. And it would also be confirmed that it had been an entire week since his demise, his body left rotting on his beloved boat.
