5. Dark Urine
Pancreatic cancer patients may start noticing their urine to turn dark in color similar to cola. This is because of the accumulation of bilirubin, a dark colored pigment that comes from bile, in the blood.
When the flow of bile from the liver and the gall bladder is impeded because of a blockage in the common bile duct because of a pancreatic tumor, for example, its normal excretion via stool is prevented, making it accumulate and seep into the body in the form of bilirubin. From there, the excess bilirubin, a dark brown pigment, is filtered by the kidneys and passed out into the urine, giving your pee a darker, cola-like color.
