22. The Fuhlingen House, Cologne, Western Germany
The Fuhlingen house was an opulent property once owned by Eduard Freiherr von Oppenheim, one if Germany’s wealthiest bankers of the time. The house is also one of the most haunted in the country. Several ghost sightings were reported there, including that of the judge, according to the reports, who took his own life in of the mansion’s rooms.
23. The Lalaurie Mansion, New Orleans, Louisiana
The Lalaurie mansion in New Orleans is the notorious location of the serial killings of the household slaves. The perpetrator was no other than the then owner Delphine Lalaurie, a New Orleans Creole socialite. According to witnesses, the ghosts that haunt the mansion even to this day, are those of the slaves that have been murdered there.
