Don’t Forget Your Bug Repellant
There are tons of insects in New Zealand, but thankfully none that are deadly. Still, you shouldn’t go to New Zealand without bug repellant, unless of course you don’t mind getting bitten by tons of bugs, including sand flies. In fact, the sand flies are probably the most irritating of all, especially during the summer months. Just to be sure, spray on more during the evening as this is when they tend to be at their most pesky!
