Don’t Stick To Your Itinerary
Yes, it’s important to have an itinerary and to plan head when in New Zealand, but you don’t have to stick to it one hundred percent. Be open to the idea that when you arrive in a certain place, you might just want to explore even further, heading into what you could call “unchartered territory,” in your “tourist” title at least. Take the plunge and go off the beaten path, just make sure you tell someone first of course. Safety should always be your number one priority.
