Don’t Underestimate The Terrain

There’s a reason why New Zealand is also known as ‘Middle Earth’ and why all the movies with awe inspiring backdrops have been filmed there, because it has all that awesome, rugged terrain that goes on for miles and miles. But when visiting, don’t underestimate it, including the roads and other pathways. Not only can things freeze over, there are landslides, and even closing of roads when needed so always check ahead of time before traveling and heading out.
