Like Australia, New Zealand’s seasons run backwards with summer during the usual winter months of America and winter during the summer months. But while lots of travelers prefer to visit during New Zealand’s summer, which is from December to February, it’s actually more expensive then since it’s the peak season for traveling. Rather, go during New Zealand’s wintertime to enjoy the cooler weather and not too expensive prices.
