Don’t Try To Barter
New Zealanders don’t barter, nor do they think you should try either. Whatever price they give is one that they feel is fair. Plus they expect that if you require their services, then what they charge you is what you should pay. And if you try to haggle, you may just find them either laughing or frowning straight to your face.
