6. Gravy
Gravy is a sauce made from the drippings coming from meats while roasting. It is flavored further by the addition of different spices and made richer, in some cuisines, by adding finely chopped offal which have been removed from the carcass of the animal being roasted. Since offals and meats, particularly red meats, are high in purine, and their juices also contain just as much, gravies make it to our list of things to avoid when you have gout.
