Lisa Romero-Muniz, Miss Happy-Go-Lucky
Lisa Romero-Muniz was a wife, mother and grandmother who had been working as a secretary for the MIyamura High School in Gallup, New Mexico. She had sadly been in the Las Vegas event when Paddock opened fire on the crowd of more than 20,000 people. Unfortunately, she was amongst the incredible number of 59 victims that died at the hands of Paddock.
A School In Mourning
According to her cousin Paul Romero, whom Lisa had grown up quite close to, he shares that “She was a very down-to-earth person, she was very sweet person. As far as I know she never had an enemy in the world.” Her other cousin, Ashley, also expressed sadness, saying, “She loved her kids and husband. And for this to happen so senselessly. It’s a heartbreaking day for us all.”
