Rachel Parker, A Woman Of The Law

One of Manhattan Beach’s Police Departments’ Records Technicians, Rachel Parker, happened to also be at the concert on that fatal night on October 1. She was only 33-years-old and had been said to be working for the police force for over 10 years already when she was killed. She was apparently in Las Vegas for the weekend celebrating a friend’s birthday when the attack occurred.

A Kind Soul For Rescuing

Sadly for Rachel, she had sustained gunshot wounds from Paddock, and had even made it to the hospital alive. But wistfully while being treated at one of the numerous hospitals that were helping the hundreds of victims from this horrendous shooting, she sadly succumbed to her fatal wounds and lost her life. Parker’s mother even shared a photo of her with her two canine friends saying, “This is my daughter in a happier time with her fur kids. She rescued them. She was always saving something.” But sadly for Rachel, she couldn’t be saved that night.
