Charles Hartfield, A Military Veteran And Father

34-year-old Charles Hartfield, was also known as Chucky to those who knew him well. He was a Las Vegas police officer who not only volunteered to coach youth football, but was a military veteran as well. One of his good friends shared that he was “Seriously one of the nicest guys ever. The most true-blue American guy I’ve ever met.”

A Heart Of Gold

One of Chucky’s friends, Troy Rhett, told one reporter that he had just been texting with his friend before the tragedy began. He shares, “I figured he was probably busy helping others. I don’t know a better man than Charles. They say it’s always the good ones we lose early. Our hearts have just been heavy since hearing the news.”
