A Young Todd Kohlhepp
On March 7, 1971, Todd Kohlhepp was born in Florida to Todd Christopher Sampsell and Reggie Tague. His parents’ marriage disintegrated when he was just a boy, and at the young age of 2, he moved with his mother who eventually remarried someone else just a year later. He was raised in Georgia and South Carolina, and his mom remembers a boy who was very smart and enjoyed reading encyclopedias. She shared, “And he would laugh and he would get tickled. And he learned.”
