Marybeth Tinning

She confessed to the murder of three but was only convicted for the murder of one. She pleaded for parole a number of times, but was denied. However, her inmates attested to her kindness while incarcerated.

And while in her manic state, she heard God speak to her and told her to cut off the arms of her 10-month old daughter. The police discovered her covered in blood while singing Christmas songs. She was found not guilty by reason of insanity and was committed to an asylum instead. She stayed out of public scrutiny until a radio show discovered her working for Walmart under her maiden name in 2012. She was soon fired from her job after.
