Of all the cases mentioned, this may be the most notorious one yet. She’s the mother of JonBenet, a little girl who was big in the pageant industry. Unfortunately, the pretty little girl was found dead in the basement, due to strangulation and asphyxiation. People doubt her innocence, and though she has passed away from cancer, many still believe that she was involved in her daughter’s death despite being cleared from any sort of involvement.

In 2008, Cindy Anthony called the cops. She had been a bundle of nerves because she hadn’t seen her granddaughter, Caylee, for a month. Casey, the mother, claimed that her daughter had been abducted by the nanny. The story became a national headline and Casey was immediately charged with murder. However, she was later acquitted due to lack of evidence. Now, Casey lives quietly in West Palm Beach where she is a mother to a Yorkshire terrier.
