In 1992, Robin Lee Row decided to kill her entire family, her ex-husband, 10-year old son, and 8-year old daughter. She successfully burned them alive by turning off the smoke alarm and spraying liquid accelerant all over the house. The cops looked at her past records and found that in 1980, her son died when his blanket caught fire from a portable heater. After which she collected a whopping $28,000 in life insurance. She was soon convicted of murder and is currently the only inmate on death row in Idaho’s state prison.

Fiona Donnison

Fiona Donnison went to the police station on the morning of September 27, 2011 and told the police officers that she had killed her two kids – Elise, 7; and Harry, 3. She had smothered them to death using the bedding and kept their bodies in the back of her car. Apparently, she had used her children as pawns in order to get revenge on her estranged husband. The authorities also found two knives in the car, which meant that she had planned to murder him as well. She was sentenced to 32 years in prison.
