Michelle Kehoe

In 2008, Michelle Kehoe called the cops and said that her two sons had been kidnapped. However, Sean, her older son, survived the ordeal and proceeded to tell the cops how she duct taped their eyes and mouths before slashing their throats. His younger brother succumbed to his wounds, but unfortunately for her, he survived. He was seven at that time but he remembered the details vividly. During the trial, it only took the jury two hours to deliberate and they came up with a unanimous decision: life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Debra Jean Milke

Debra Jean Milke was a frustrated mother. She felt that her son had stopped her from living her life to the fullest. He was more of a hindrance to her than a joy. So, she asked a friend to help her commit murder. On the said day, she drove him to the dessert and tricked him into thinking that he was meeting Santa. Milke served 22 years in prison, but the judge threw out her case because the cops failed to read her the Miranda rights. She’s currently awaiting retrial.
