Dora Luz Buenrostro

In 1994, police stumbled upon one of the saddest cases. Dora Luz had murdered all three of her children: Susana, 9; Vicente, 8; and Deidra, 4. All three were stabbed in the neck and the youngest was strapped to the car and left abandoned near a river. When she was apprehended and jailed, she showed very little remorse. She admitted to her guilt and said that she carried out the murders to hurt her husband, but her story kept changing. She later changed her story while she was incarcerated, saying that her husband killed all of them.

Christina Miracle

Christina Miracle, certainly an ironic name for a woman who killed her six-year old boy. She performed a bizarre ceremony where she thought she was resurrecting her dead brother while baptizing her son at the same time. Police discovered that the little one had actually been beaten to death. During the trial, she pleaded insanity, as she doesn’t remember the day of the murder. She claimed that she could only recall the incident in fragments. However, the judge believed that she was competent to stand trial and is now behind bars.
