In 1988, two dumpster divers came upon what looked like a doll’s head. They soon discovered that it was actually the body of a dead baby whose mouth had been duct taped and whose body was stuffed in a plastic bag. The infant died of suffocation, but there were no leads as to who did this. Five years later, another baby was found in a dumpster, and through DNA testing, they discovered that the two newborns belonged to Kenisha Berry. She was soon sentenced to death but this was later commuted to life imprisonment in 2007.

Megan Huntsman was 39-years old and divorced. Her estranged husband had called the police and tipped them off, saying that she had strangled and suffocated her newborn infants. The authorities immediately searched her house in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and found seven dead infants stuffed inside a cardboard box. What stunned them even more was the fact that she had a clean record. During the trial, however, it was discovered that she was addicted to drugs and was sentenced to life in prison. Talk about setting the bar high for herself.
