As an adult, you might assume that Robert would stay away from the media as much as possible. But, he took the brave route and became a journalist before moving into politics as a media advisor to the former Queensland premier Anna Bligh. And when asked about him, she had nothing but praises for this unconventional hero. He commanded respect wherever he went, and that wasn’t easy to achieve considering that he was different from everyone else.

While Robert lived a normal life and was successful at what he did, he wanted more. People he worked with said that not only was he charismatic, he was also extremely intelligent.
