Crazily enough, 700-miles away from the disaster location in the forests of Germany, wild boars used to scrounge for mushrooms and truffles, as well as supposedly to eat, are still radioactive. These boars are actually eaten as a form of salami, but routine tests done in Saxony showed that over the span of one year, 297 boars out of 752 tested positive for radiation.
