Tourist Reminders

Back in 2010, the sight of the Chernobyl Disaster and its surrounding areas were deemed ‘safe’ to visit, but not without warning. Tourists are told not to touch any of the objects they see, not to pet any stray dogs, and they have to agree to go through radiation screening as they leave. But most importantly, they are reminded that this place was the site of a horrible tragedy that is not meant to be taken lightly.
