The open-air show was held on a floating stage on Pyongyang’s Taedong River with a chronological tribute to the party’s role in shaping the country over the past seven decades.

Outrage and criticism poured over the recent issue about North Korea feeding their builders crystal meth to speed up building projects. Huffington Post reported that the Class A drug crystal meth is being supplied to exhausted laborers by project managers at a showcase site in the capital city, Pyongyang. The building projects are a 70-storey high rise apartment block and at least 60 other structures are on tight deadlines.
