Aside from keys and metal identification tags, some of the other pieces were jewelry worn by the victims. It was speculated that many of these items were taken from the prisoners upon their arrival at the camp and kept. By uncovering these pertinent pieces of history, it also allows history to give names to many of the faceless and nameless victims of Sobibor Death Camp.

While finding items such as jewelry and keys already felt like they were making an impact, they would also find an immense amount of skeletons buried under the cement. It just went on to prove the kind of evil that existed all those years before, and the success at almost completely eradicating an entire people.
