Tall girl problems
On her way to the dance floor, Clare noticed that some of the girls were wearing shorter dresses than hers. The difference was that since she was taller and had longer legs, her dress appeared shorter despite it passing the length test. The other girls’ dresses appeared longer because of their stature, a detail that Clare felt was a double standard.
