James Thomas, Clare’s boyfriend, demanded that if the organizers were thinking of kicking his girlfriend out despite complying with the rules, they should give her a full refund for her ticket. In addition, since Clare and her friends came as a group, her being kicked-out would ruin their evening and should also be refunded their fees. Clare didn’t like this as she felt that all her preparation would be for nothing if it came to that.
