6. Foot Drop

Foot drop or the inability of a person to lift the front part of the foot while walking is another sign of stroke that could easily be noticed. A person suffering from stroke will appear to drag their toes along the ground, forcing them to lift their foot higher than usual to prevent this. Foot drop may be temporary but that does not mean it should be neglected. It could be a sign of something amiss in the brain, due to the damage brought about by stroke.
