A: Arm
As with the face muscles, movement, sensation and muscle tone in an affected persons arm can also be affected. This is usually one-sided, with the affected person unable to lift both arms to the same level. One arm could either be paralyzed, unable to move totally, or weak and sluggish. If you notice this in anyone who did not have this problem before, it could be a sign that something is wrong, possibly an impending stroke about to happen. Call for help as soon as you notice this sign.
