Meeting Dan

Despite the 12-year difference in their ages, Dan shares how the first time he saw Brittany, he found her so beautiful. He later on shares that after getting to know her more, “What a beautiful person she was on the inside.” He had been a bachelor for so long, and when he met her, he had been 35 while she was a mere 23-years-old. Dan shares, “Jokingly, she would say I’d certainly been single long enough because there was an age difference between us.”

Getting Married 5 Years Later

He shares that Brittany asked him, “And, ‘What’s taken me so long?’ and my answer was, honestly, that I hadn’t met the girl for me until Brittany.” Then 5 years after they met, they decided to tie the knot and they married in September of 2012. For them, it was all perfect timing. They had also hoped to have a family not too long after.
