12. Pol Pot


Pol Pot was the leader of Cambodia in 1975 who brought his country into great conflicts when he attempted to provide equality to everyone. His plan was met with massive protests and resistance. As punishment, he deprived his people of their right to proper nutrition, education, and medical help. He even went as far as executing some 2.5 million who were opposed to his plans. He died in 1988, possibly of a heart attack while waiting to be turned over to an international tribunal to be tried for his war crimes.
