An Evil Monster

In spite of her apology, Elizabeth’s mom said, “So much has been lost at the hands of this evil monster. Elizabeth was given a death sentence and we were given a life sentence.” And to make matters worse, while Elizabeth will never come back to live another day on this earth again, Alyssa may one day get a chance to walk free, despite the extremely abominable deeds that she did when she was just 15.

Coming To A Settlement

It has been a little less than ten years since Alyssa brutally killed 9-year old Elizabeth, and yet, her case is still debated by many. Elizabeth’s mom, Preiss, who had originally filed another case against Alyssa, ended up settling in court for ‘$5 million plus 9 percent interest until the debt is paid.’ In reality, no amount of money can ever make up for such a ghastly incident or the loss of her beloved daughter, but for now, there is nothing else that Preiss can do. And if one day, Alyssa does actually walk free again, one can only hope that she has truly been rehabilitated, or else they may fear that she might just strike again.
