Left With Her Grandparents

Alyssa and her two younger brothers, and another much younger half-sister, would end up getting sent to live with their grandparents. But like many kids in situations like hers, rather than flourish, Alyssa’s life to a turn for the worst. Not only did she not have the love that children need from their parents, especially throughout her formative years, but she began to become highly dangerous to herself as well.

She Was A Cutter

Alyssa would end up depressed, which would actually cause her to hurt herself. She was a ‘cutter,’ which meant that she would use razor blades or knives in order to cut her own skin. And while this was ‘attention seeking’ type of behavior, Alyssa’s case seemed to go way beyond that.
