Just four days after she had gone into the woods to dig the holes, she knew that she would finally get her chance to go through with her gruesome plan. Her 9-year old neighbor, an incredibly sweet and kind young girl named Elizabeth Olten, happened to be walking home from a friend’s house when Alyssa managed to lure her into the woods using her younger sister as bait. She had her younger sister invite Elizabeth to play, then when they got to where Alyssa was, she told her younger sister to go home and leave Elizabeth with her.

Killing Elizabeth

Alyssa took Elizabeth by the hand and walked around 15 minutes into the woods to where she had dug the holes. Before Elizabeth could even begin to understand what was about to happen, Alyssa began to strangle the helpless 9-year old. Then she went on stab her multiple times, then slice her throat with a kitchen knife until Elizabeth had taken her last breath. Alyssa then dragged her body to one of the graves she dug and dumped her inside, and covered up the evidence with leaves. But what was even worse is that she would seem to have zero remorse at all for what she had done.
