The Chase Continues
The FBI was able to gather enough evidence to finally intercede and arrest Swango in June 1997 on a layover on his way to the Arab country. He was cuffed at the Chicago-O’Hare International Airport and was faced this time with solid proof of what he did. There was no way he was going to deny the crime he committed and in their count, he had murdered at least 60 people, making him one of the most prolific serial killers to date.
