Many of those he worked with noticed how fascinated Swango was with dying patients. He seemed to like being around them all the time. Nonetheless, his professors thought that he was more than capable and gave him the task of caring for these patients. No one really noticed how many of these people ended up coding. In fact, records state that at least five people had died under his care and many of them got sicker.
