Tight-Lipped
Mason may have been one of the most pleasant people to be with in the retirement community, but he was also very secretive. He never talked about his past much, but one neighbor, C.M Carter was quick to point out that he had never even seen Gerald angry, which is an emotion everyone feels at one time or another. He also said there were so many opportunities for him to confide in Carter as they spent so much time together, playing golf or going to Lake Murray. And he was not the only one who was confused as to what happened on that morning the police came for him.
