Disappeared Without A Trace
A wide-scale manhunt involving federal and state police was initiated for the killer. The two cops who last saw the slain officer and one of the teenagers that were mugged within the area shortly to the shooting got a good glimpse of the suspect. An alert for the killer was issued at all police stations with the suspect being described as a white male with blond hair and a Southern accent. Police were also able to get two partial thumbprints from the car. It was a good start, as both partial thumbprints were of the same thumb and put together the police had one of the suspect’s thumbprints. It was time for them to get to work.
