Marrying Jackie
On September 12, 1953, the couple was wed in Rhode Island in a huge wedding with over 1000 people in attendance. Since the Fitzgerald and Kennedy families, along with the Bouvier’s, were practically considered American royalty, their relationship and subsequent wedding was the talk of the town, with everyone gushing over what a gorgeous couple they made. It would seem that they were destined for greatness, and a lifetime of happiness.
