18. O’Hare International Airport Saucer

In the afternoon of November 7, 2006, workers at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport witnessed a disc-shaped object in the sky above gate C-17. The saucer was first seen by a ramp operator working on United Airlines Flight 446 and was later also reported by the pilot of the flight. These sightings were confirmed by other witnesses from elsewhere outside the airport, describing the experience as alarming. The Federal Aviation Administration offered an explanation, saying that the phenomenon was nothing more than a weather disturbance. People were not convinced.
