Don’t Buy Fake Water
This might sound a tad bit strange but when in Vietnam, don’t buy fake water in a bottle. Crazy as it seems, there are actually vendors who will try to sell you bottled water on the streets that happens to be tap water rather than distilled or mineral, which is just not potable in Vietnam. If able, bring bottled water from your hotel or buy it from a convenience store to make sure that it’s actually clean.
