Don’t Use Large Bills When Paying
When you are paying for something, don’t use large bills or else the merchant will actually try to get you to pay a higher price. As long as they know that you don’t have any change, they will raise the price since they know that you have the money to pay for it. When changing your money, be sure to ask the moneychanger or bank for smaller denominations of Vietnamese dong, which is what the local currency is called.
