Don’t Forget To Watch Your Feet

If you happen to be staying in a friend or colleague’s home when visiting Vietnam, you may notice that there are altars in the homes. These altars are sacred, and they usually hold very sentimental value to the family members. Be very careful not to sit with you feet pointed at the altar, or even sleep with your feet facing it. It is considered incredibly disrespectful so always be aware of where your feet are pointed at all times.
