Don’t Think It’s All Temples
Back when Vietnam was still a colony of France, they built the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon. Located in the center of Ho Chi Minh city, construction began all the way back in 1863 and took around 17 years to complete, using materials imported from France. It continues to stand today as a reminder of Vietnam’s long history with colonization and how it gained its independence since then.
