Don’t Pay Full Price
Like many other Southeast Asian countries, don’t pay full price for everything in Vietnam. If there is one thing that the Vietnamese know how to do, it’s haggle. Make sure that you get used to their system and don’t go with the first price that they give you. In fact, you can even attempt to walk away and they will probably give you half the original price, as long as they don’t know how much you want it. Just be prepared for them to haggle right back, and sometimes, they totally stick to their guns, so you’ll need to decide if you really can’t leave without it.
