Don’t Play With Chopsticks
Just like their other Asian counterparts, chopsticks are considered the local utensils in Vietnam. Be aware of how you handle them, as using them in the wrong way could be considered incredibly rude. Never stick them upright in your rice or poke your food with them. Rather, ask for a fork and spoon if you don’t feel comfortable enough to handle chopsticks properly.
