Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

The Vietnamese are known for telling visitors exactly what they want to hear just to find a way to get their business. It would seem like there are no rules when it comes to them finding ways to make money, lying included. So if you happen to be talking with a local over the price or cost of something, always know that they are doing what they can to earn more. So don’t believe everything that they tell you, and be very clear when deciding on a price.
