Don’t Accept Soup That Isn’t Boiling Hot
Vietnam is known for it’s Pho, and some of the best ones are sold on the side of the road. If you decide to try it, which we highly recommend, just make sure that it is served to you piping hot! More often than not, tourists get stomach flu because they drink bad water or the food they eat has been sitting in the pot for far too long. Take a look at the soup inside the vat before eating it to see that it has at least been on a low boil the whole time.
