While many other nations don’t think twice about PDA, or public displays of affection, in Vietnam, don’t be touchy when in public. People that are seen hugging or kissing out in the open are considered rude and such displays are meant to be private. You may hold hands, particularly when crossing the road, but that’s about the extent of what is considered appropriate.
