Don’t Get Locked Up Abroad

One of the worst things that can happen to any traveler is to get locked up abroad, which actually happens often enough that there’s an entire TV series about it. When in Vietnam, don’t take photos of any of their military equipment, bases, installations, or other forms of artillery. For the Vietnamese, they consider this a breach of national security and they won’t blink twice if they think they need to jail you for it.
